Egbe Tobalase Okunrin Akile Ijebu is the esteemed age-grade association of Ijebu sons born between 1971 and 1973. The Egbe received Royal Blessings and Traditional Recognition from Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr.) S. K. Adetona, CFR, Ogbagba II, The Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land, on 3rd October 2013, marking our formal induction into the respected circle of Regberegbe in Ijebuland.

Since our formal establishment in 2013, Egbe Tobalase Okunrin Akile Ijebu has consistently participated in the annual Ojude Oba Festival, proudly representing our age group and heritage.
Across the years, we have achieved remarkable success, earning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions at various editions of the festival among competing Regberegbe.
Today, the Egbe boasts over 190 members across the world, including:
• 40+ members in the USA
• 25+ members in the UK & Ireland
• A growing number in Canada
Under the leadership of Giwa Engr. Abdul Azeez Abiola Alausa, our Diaspora branches in the USA, UK/Ireland, and Canada were inaugurated in 2017. These branches have continued to flourish and strengthen community bonds abroad.
Guided by the belief that “Charity begins at home,” the Egbe has remained committed to the upliftment of its members and the development of Ijebu communities.

Membership is open to all sons of Akile Ijebu born between 1st January 1971 and 31st December 1973, either by birth or marriage, irrespective of profession, creed, social status, or location.
For all meetings and approved outings, members are expected to dress in traditional attire with a matching native cap.
